I'm happy to say that the new two book contract has been signed - and away to go!
My first deadline is the end of February - hurry! hurry!
The second deadline is probably the start of 2008. Plenty of work to keep me busy.
Here's the thing - I don't have an idea for the second book. Help!
Don't panic! Something will occur to me. Anyway I've got to finished the book I'm on.
I must not get distracted - 
by TV or whatever.
I love this writing game.

The turkey might well get me. I'm cooking Christmas dinner, a chore I haven't had to do in years. It's a long story. Maybe I can fit in a bit of writing between cooking and washing up.

Good question. But I need bit of R & R. It helps me get my brain in gear.
I'm coming to the end of the book so it's all down hill from here - I hope!

No writing today - life and family got in the way but I'm not complaining. My family has shrunk in the last few years so I cling to what's left.
I've got the rest of the week to write anyway.

Christmas???!!!???

Christmas stopped frightening me a long time ago. When my immediate family disintergrated I shared the Christmas of others - on the edge of things so to speak.
Mind you - this Christmas the dinner is down to me. I haven't had to cook the turkey in years...
Oh dear! What a thought. Now I am beginning to get a little scared...!
